About the Competition The International Flute Competition 2026 is a unique event dedicated to the memory and artistic legacy of Peter-Lukas Graf, one of the most outstanding flutists and pedagogues of our time.
The competition is open to flutists of different generations - from the youngest participants to students, young artists, and emerging professionals - with no age limit. Its aim is to support artistic development, inspire young musicians, and create a space for international exchange at the highest artistic level. Applications for the Youth Category remain open until June 30, 2026. Starting July 1, we warmly invite students and professional flutists from around the world to apply for the Academic and Professional Categories.
Each age group is assessed separately, with every year of birth forming its own individual category, ensuring a fair and thoughtful evaluation.
